Well I have a suggestion, if you use fireworks, why not proportion the size with the Modify >> Canvas >> Image Size and make sure your Constrain Proportions checkbox is checked....

There are no plans to change the limits.

If a hack is so great that it requires 9 screenshots at high resolution why not set up a public demo site for it instead?

In all my years here I've never had a problem with the restrictions. I remember having to create a new post for each screenshot way back when. ;) I'm sure you can manage.

Are you sure that these restrictions were the same from the beginning?
I think that about a year ago the limits were bigger...

It's a screen shot.

- 320x240, 640x480, 800x600
- 65-75% optimized

This is what I try for most of the time.

I've never had a problem with the file size limit, just with the dimensions.

This is obviously going nowhere.

Members are free to suggest as much as they like, but they must realise that every suggestion is not going to be implemented.

We have read the suggestion and made our decision, it's time to accept that and move on.
