You have to edit the template in admincp called donorbar
Maybe I will add an option to change currency symbol

It was meant to work with your current donation page by providing your site members a quick glance of your current donations, goal and a donate link on forum home. This provides more of a presence for your donations request as it will be seen by your members rather than having to click a link to a donor page which usually only happens when a member donates.
Are you asking if its possible or if I could do it? I have no authority to add anything to billspaypal without his permission. I would probably just write my own donation page which is how I originally starting coding this, but decided this avenue was more beneficial to Admins.
