Excellent idea and now that Jelsoft has paid add-ons, this seems a logical step.
And it's not that paid mods are not listed now anyway. Many coders have links to their add ons or commercial sites in their signatures. Listing it in one place would only create a much better overview and make it easier for webmasters to expand the functionality of their site.

I just discovered that there is a paid add-on that can handle advanced commercial support. I was unaware of this until now. This is ideal for at my work. If I had been aware of this 2 years ago, then it would have been reason for at least one board to switch to vbulletin then.

Jelsoft is missing sales by not exposing all possibilities that vbulletin has.

It's threads like this that show the need for a index of paid add-ons. Who knows what else is available? I really want to know.

A considerable ammount of sites have poped up trying to help the authors get their work out. But no one has really contributed anything.

exactly my toughts... the only solution is to have a real commercial directory where people are invited to announce on, and where they can contribute with their own work... this is not possible right now, and will not if Jelsoft is not pushing the block... - as they will not, you can visit my site for that kind of stuff.. lol (ok, i can't advertise! lol)

there is a lot of code-hosts, like hotscripts etc, but most of them do not permit addons or plugins etc... (hotscripts is the biggest but do not permit to advertise products or addons for vB anymore)

the only thing would be to invest time, effort and money to have a real directory of resources, not places where codes are listed and released... a real directory... for serious advertisers... guys who want to do it the commercial way. (oh gosh, i try it!)

Simply creating a list would be a good start. I assume Jelsoft knows practically all software with integration.
Hosting the list and then allowing product announcements with it, is all that's needed.
