The NoSpam plugin works Tip Top!
We should not have to make our registered users enter something extra just just because of the spam bots. I say this will be a great add-on if the NoSpam addition starts to fail. Good work anyways, your efforts are appreciated! |
<u>One bug found:</u> I am already logged in, if the Captcha appears.
All what I must do, is just click in navigation on the forum link to bypass it. I found it accidentally during intensive tests with it. The idea is very good, but the Captcha should appear before my status is set to logged in, otherwise members will just click on a link to bypass the Captcha window. |

Hack Updated!
20/05/2007 - Version 1.1 - Fixed User Logged In Without CAPTCHA Bug - Fixed Admin CP / Mod CP Redirect Issues - Added Ability To Exempt Individual Users |
Cool idea. Question though, would it be possibly to only have it displayed for certain usergroups (admins, mods)? Or only include certain users for that matter?
|
If only you looked at the Admin CP Options....Although you haven't installed it yet (I know ;)). Yes, you can exclude certain usergroups and exclude individual users. I might include functionality to include instead of exclude in the future.

but the person who want to run like those spam scripts can login normaly and then run his spam script !!! so the cookies will remain active and wont ask him again about the six digits ???
what about that ?? or its better to manage a time between every post ? |
