PR comes from quality backlinks not vBSEO.

If you ever manage to get good backlinks and a good PR then vBSEO helps your sub pages get a better share of that PR.

I like vBSEO very much and it has even helped with getting my adsense numbers up. It virtually has paid for itself in adsense revenue alone.

Especially if your forum is optimized (like JPiC) for adsense then vBSEO naturally will allow for more links on google, which means more visitors & registered Members, which means more potential for visitors clicking on those adsense links.

I think it's a phenomenal piece of software and well worth the purchase price :)

I wouldn't be surprised at all if a SEO product would soon pop up in Jelsoft's Official vBulletin Add-on Products range.

BamaStangGuy 04-18-2007 12:25 AM

I would, considering they have said they aren't going to do it.

FreshFroot 04-18-2007 05:24 AM

I hate to say it, but I'm not to ahppy with it..

#1 Joe Ward spams every forum that talks about vBSEO and basically talks about HOW good it is.. even when people ask him questions, he will never directly answer questions and float off them.

#2 It isn't 100% proven that it will help you, I know people who regret buying a vbSEO licence. It didn't do anything at all for them.

#3 Why would you pay for a product, rather a 3rd! Party product that costs as much as the actual product it self. I could spend that $149 and get another vBulletin board instead.

#4 Why do they have to hide their code? Do you all feel comfortable with that? How do you know what kind of data they access from you?

#5 The staff over at vB com also recomend NOT TO BUY vBSEO. Don't believe me? Go there and search in the suggestions forum. They say that it doesn't help your forum too much and that the default SEO is good enough. Tell me, who would know more about the actual software? Some guy who's playing around with words, duping you for your hard earned $149 or people who ACTUALLY created the original software....

If you buy vBSEO, your wasting time, money and your hard earned cash. Get something like Zoints if your REALLY worried.... and Zoints is free too.

*Sigh* I guess all these happy VBSEO owners are dumb ignorant people then. If you don't like it for the encryption then that is fine and understandable.

You can tell yourself vBulletin is fine for SEO out of the box but it's not and it has been shown with logic and reasoning that it isn't.

I have not wasted my time or money with this product. I own 3 licenses and the software has made running a forum easier while at the same time properly seoing the url structure.

and I know people that say it's the greatest product in the world and love it. What's your bloody point? I can find people that hate vBulletin too. Woo hoo that proves a whole lot.

because the product does what it says it will do and the company provides top notch support. I also don't have any current conspiracy theories about VBSEO stealing super secret info from my forum and seeing how I have been using it for almost two years now I don't see that changing.

vBulletin doesn't recommend not buying it because it doesn't work. Their claim is that the software causes server problems. Problems that I have never witnessed on my server nor seen brought up in the support area on VBSEO.

FreshFroot 04-18-2007 06:39 AM

Not all vBSEO customers are happy... many regret even paying $149.

Logic shows vBSEO helps? where is the proof? It's VERY equal.. many places HAVE improved and mabye HAVEN'T. I'm not saying it doesn't work.. or it does... I'm saying.. are you willing to take a risk over $149 for something that MIGHT work...

People are better off taking a chance with Zoints, atleast they have nothing to lose.

BTW, the product is falsely advertised.. like I said, there is no 100% proof it helps or not. It works for some and it doesn't for the others. I don't see it being a good risk to take for something that doesn't have a high guarantee.

BTW, what happens when TONS of people use vBSEO? We ALL can't have our sites index super well... vBSEO started off great, to many people are bought into the false advertising and buy the product THINKING it works... and for many, it sadly hasn't.

Don't waste your money on it folks. Try Zoints out atleast and see how that goes. If it goes well, mabye THEN take a risk for vBSEO if you want. But otherwise, save your cash and either buy another vB with it, or save it for another investment.

BTW here is a link of the thread:

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=162960

I have a feeling in vB 4.0 we will see all enhancements of vBSEO in it. So the people who haven't bought it, SAVE YOUR MONEY. They will include a better enhanced SEO in the next release.
