My only suggestion is to change the words "Steam ID" to "Steam Friends" because SteamID is something entirely different.

That was what I first did, but I didn't think it sounded correctly. However I might update it in the next update I release (:

in order to change from "Steam ID" to "Steam Friends" -> go to admincp -> lang & phrases -> search phrases -> search for "Steam ID" without quotes , then edit the phrase with whatever you want to see.

also, i was having a problem displaying the icon, so i searched in templates for im_steam and edited Template Instant messaging templates -> im_steam -> i changed <img src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/im_steam.gif" to <img src="/images/misc/im_steam.gif"

then it worked

and what if they change their steam friends name? is there a way to do it by SteamID, so that no matter what they change their steam friends ID to, it'll work?

I think I found a bug.

For some reason is doesnt like my steam id which is latin_racer.

I'm thinking its related to using the underscore. Any ideas?

Try using your steam email!
