Sorry - I didn't get a thread notification for some reason. I made the changes in the style I wanted to change, per instructions. (But it's okay - I'm not going to mess with this anymore; that whole replace-things part scares me.)

Okay... this thing works perfectly if done correctly :) Firstly, make sure you actually have a folder full of images in the place you're pointing to, secondly are you guys using vba or anything else that requires you to put the full url in to graphics?

I'm not using VBA, whatever that is - my images are hosted by the same place as the forum.

I don't even really understand how I could point to the images in a different folder for one style, and have other styles change on me - styles that pointed to something else and weren't children of anything. I can only guess that when I replaced things, it replaced them in the other styles too for whatever reason.

Maybe because my whole styles section is a rat's nest of emancipated children and absent parents and whatnot. (It took me a really long time to figure out how to create a style. There's a lot of debris.)

I have tried doing what AZhrialilu has suggested and it seems to have worked to a point. The problem I am having is that my site is looking for my other custom "post icons" in the new folder? Its showing red x's . Frustrating.
