Open external.php go to line 610, 618, 662 or search for

/showthread.php?t=$thread[threadid]&goto=newpost

and delete goto=newpost.

I was deleting "&goto=newpost" which seemed to corrupt the file.

Was this for SEO reasons or just because you wanted the link to take the user to the first post in the thread?

Actually....I deleted "&goto=newpost" and it's working fine for me. If I left the "&" in there I was getting URL's like this:

http://gridironfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62134&

instead of this:

http://gridironfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62134
