i didnt realize people didnt like godaddy so much. are they that bad? i have a small board and i have there deluxe plan, and so far so good. i been with them for over 4 years but probably one or two years running vbulletin. the site goes down once in a maybe 4-5 months.

For a small board they might work out ok, but personally I would never recommend running vB on GoDaddy servers. If your board starts to get busy it will probably slow down alot and quicky. Their servers just aren't optimized for all that vBulletin can do. Remember, vB is typically considered for "big boards" or large communities. That doesn't mean they're aren't lots of great smaller ones, just means it was built with large communities in mind. ;)

Do a search for GoDaddy at vbulletin.com and see for yourself what other members are saying.

can i place like siteground host a vbulletin board that will have 300+ users on it at one time very well? id imagine at those prices you dont have a lot of resources allocated to you (such as ram) that would keep the board running quickly.
