local_links is the mod by Andrew D called LDM

you can match phpLd tempaltes to vb's pretty easily if you know a little css

I don't suggest vba link dir, I don't like the look or benifits to the user suggesting his/her site.

I use the geek's GAR's on our Free vBulletin Link Directory I love it, it's easy to add blocks and move things around.. I have a pretty stock look, but I've seen some Sweet pages with GAR's

phpld would be a great Addon, the Version 2 of phpld is free available, so many people could use this.

I've been working with Loco.M on this, and we now have an official mod for integrating vBulletin with phpLD. There is some information about it here:
