you asked for reviews that's what you got. I agree with SirAdrian..
No header, the colors are WAY too bright (hurts my eyes), and the lighter icons aren't even visible.

Truthfully the ads are more appealing than the forum itself, but I wouldn't stay long enough to click on any of them.

I've changed the colors to blue now, what ya think?

I'm not a fan or the purplish color you have selected I know you want plain or simple but this is way too simple ot the point where I as a use would probably run from a forum like that.... you need some thing that grabs attention BESIDES the ads on the side which take all the attention of the page

exactly my thoughts... there are MANY poker sites/forums. etc.. out there.. and how much different can you be in content? you need to have a visually appealling look too, as of now I am afraid to visit default styles.. I hire people to go to vb.com for me.. haha.
yes, that side banner completely takes attention from your forum.. your forums looks like the ad and the banner looks like the site content:D
