What do you mean by section?

If you want to limit Close Old Threads to a subset of forums, enter the forum ID's to exclude in the control panel settings page.

i mean for people who have around 20 sections and in one section around 2-4 sub-sections
for them it`s hard to exclude everything

if u have 100 forums and u only want to close 1. You have to input 9 forumid's

so it`s kindda though can`t we have sumthin` like in choosing wtever we want and whatever we don`t want to close that

I've got some other work to do today, but if I get some time tonight or tomorrow, I will modify the hack to: include the listed forum IDs, exclude the listed forum IDs, or All forums.
