No, you haven't been hacked.

I would re-upload all the default vb files, because I think you still have a file edit somewhere.

Is there no way of narrowing down what file? I would really hate to have to load and reload all my files.

I'm now going through each modded template and compairing it to the original, I hope to find the suspect edit this way.

If it were me, I would download a copy of the current files, and compare them to the originals using beyond compare, that might highlight the problem area. I would also upload the originals to another folder, and then do a bit of folder renaming to temp run on the defaults to see if this cured it.

So the File Edit that your refering too is not a template but the actual VB files on the server?

That sounds like a great way of doing it, I'mm uploading now.... thanks

Interesting that my last member to join is the admin at a competitors site!
what timing!

All my modded templates look fine, and I disabled then deleted all the latest mods, However I doubt that they where the problem, I always check my work and load the site to verify and I didn't notice anything after doing those mods.

I'm still uploading the VB original files, and my host says
Quote:

We have checked the server for any error. The mysql service in the server is working fine. can you please check your database structure and also let us know if wwe need to make any cofiguration changes.
so lets hope its in the files and I find it.

Well I replaced all of the files with the originals, and no help.
So I have instructed my host to install a backup of my database, its the only thing left. I have a copy of the original just in case.
gotta luv it.

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Well my Host replaced my database with a backup from a few days ago, guess what... same problem :(

Well I got the site to load normally, but what was wrong is still a mystery, I disabled evrything I could in the VB options, and it started working, whats really strange is I have re enabled everything and its still loading fine????

TO THE ADMINS OF THIS SITE:
every time I would use quick reply, it kept acting as if my reply was a duplcate and add it to my privious post, like #14, it should have been a seperate post. Just a bug I wanted to point out.

I didn't edit the post above and only clicked "Quick Post Reply" once, each quick reply is adding " Last edited by Harley D : Today at 18:11. Reason: Automerged Doublepost" Is this suppose to happen?

How do you get this info? Can you do it on 3.6.4?

Thank you.
