Ive been getting spammers too. Not posting links or anything, just asking ?'s on how to retrieve pw's etc. They keep making new threads, and ive seen the same ones on diff sites

I get these all the time.... Jan 1, 1980 birthdate... and they arent using the normal register because my required fields arent filled out either.

I put in 2 custom registration fields that have to be filled out. Zip Code and Location.

If someone gets in without putting in a recognizable US location they get canned in a hurry. I also found that whatever bot was doing it didn't have enough sense to put in a zip code and location. I've not had many new ones in a few months.
