Um, I'm confused now, did you edit your config.php [as I posted before] or not ?

do you have a backup if so the reupload your config.php and that should resolve that issue!

I replaced the original config.php and nothing.

you replaced the config.php with what original config.php file??? from a previuos back-up? or the default config.php that came with vBulletin?

evidently the backup, as its connecting to the database. :)

Other than viewing the admin, does the forum homepage work? and posting work? etc

I cannot view ANYTHING at all... not even the admin section. I only have access using ftp

How about the file to change the theme to a different or default theme? Maybe if I set it back to default (not sure of the exact name) it may fix the problem?

TBH, trying to do this via the forum is going to be a waste of time, since you don't have the necessary knowledge to do what we are suggesting. If you want to PM me access details for your forum (an admin login and ftp access) I will see if I can quickly fix it for you.
