i can't go further after USERCP_SHELL templte edit. as i have vbshout vbplaza and couple of other entires there and if i replace the whole code it will distrub the other products...great idea though but sorry i dont' think it is for me

Darkfire122333 09-26-2006 09:24 PM

Well if you want, I can make edits allowing vbplaza and others to work co-dependantly with this, I just ned to know what hacks I have to install on my live board before I cna edit the code and modify so that it will work...

great:)

i can use this to rebuild my usercp to match my new setup, i did my profile system to match myspace about 98% so far:)

Work on UserCP Profile 1.1 had to be halted becuase my webhosting ran out, and I have no idea how to use localhost.. SORRY! i'll try to get hosting again as soon as possible!

ztempuser 11-03-2006 07:16 PM

you just need apache or some small webserver to be installed on ur computer and then also php, and since its vbulletin needs sql also would need MySQL

Darkfire122333 11-04-2006 03:19 AM

If I had any clue how to do that, I would... I am not too intellegent with computers other than editing code. Sorry... I wish I had better skills!

Nice Mod, Installed

When clicking on the My Profile it opens up in a new window? How can I change this to open in the same window?

marinefiend 11-04-2006 12:32 PM

Also noted that there is no place in the PM section to send out new PM

Darkfire122333 11-04-2006 04:04 PM

this is the code that goes into the navbar, there is no way that the page should open in a new window, it is set to open i nsame window, as are all the rest of the navbar links, please post oyur code you have in your navbar please. maybe you changed the code around a little?

HTML Code:

                        <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$bbuserinfo[userid]">$vbphrase[my_profile]</a></td>
and as for the PM thing, I will look into that as soon as I can get my localhost, or get a webhost :( sorry for the inconvenience!
