Is there anyway to add some more customization to this?
I'm looking to only have it only show up in a certain forum and to only show up on the first post. I would also like to click a checkbox to even decide if it should show up in that post or not |
Great hack!
I added it in the top of showthread.php Screenshot attached. |
An excellent piece!
I have added this to my "News" vBAdvanced module. It only appears within the module at top of each article. Simple replace all occurance of $threadid with $news[threadid] and and $thread[title] with $news[title]. Insert it in adv_portal_newsbits style template under: Code:
$news[dateposted] - <phrase 1="$vboptions[bburl]/member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$news[postuserid]" 2="$news[postusername]">$vbphrase[by_x]</phrase> |
Very nice, i made one for my site a month back with a drop down menu.. if somebody need it i can share it ;)
Excellent hack Adrian. :) |
Thank you! I redid some of the graphics, added one or two others and restricted it to just a drop-down in the first post since there's not much point giving over bandwidth to links in every single post. If anyone wants to grab something, feel free.
