Hi Patrickstar,

If you trying to install this mod, do the following:

1) Download and unzip the attached zip file ^^^
2) Open your AdminCP
3) Go to the Product Manager
4) Click on Add/Import Product
5) Click Browse and find the XML file that was unziped in Step 1
5) Click OK a few times and it will install it for you
6) All done! :)

Thanks,
Alan.

ok, it looks like it installed and i see it under my installed products and i can even edit it but its not working.

Alan @ CIT 06-18-2006 11:33 PM

Patrickstar: If you can give me the link to your forum, I'll take a look.

Is it enabled? Check in the Plugin Manager for "Redirect to forum instead of thread" which uses the newthread_post_complete hook and make sure it's enabled.

Thanks,
Alan.

Please try again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.

Are you certain your upload this hack? This hack doesn't touch the database at all :)

When you get that message, right click on the page and click View Source - it will show a details MySQL error in there - copy and paste that into this thread :)

Also, remove it from the Product Manager, and try installing it again

Thanks,
Alan.

im cursed! lol for some reason i have the hardest time doing the simplest tasks with vb.

ok i went to product manager--->add/import product--->browse---attached xml file--->import.

then i get that message and also this:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.4:

Invalid SQL:

(`active`, `executionorder`, `title`, `hookname`, `phpcode`, `product`)

so i hit the refresh like it says. it is in the product manager and editable, but not in the plug in manager.

Ahh, I see - sorry, but this mod only works on vBulletin v3.6 or above :)

Thanks,
Alan.

damnit!!!

ive been asking this forever.

do you think there is a hack i can do instead of a product that will work.

i know older versions of vb are doing this but i cant find any thread on it whatsoever.

thanks anyways.

oh and one last simple question thats been bother me and off topic, do i have to install something from ImageMagick onto my server if i want to use them for custom avatars? im thinking yes.

Nice hack, any chance on making it forum specific? I have a couple forums that would benifit but for the most part, my members like the redirect back to the thread..

Great idea though
