i think he was thinking more of an automated way of adding the single song which is be played

that's what it does.

you install the last.fm plug in for your media player of choice; you play some tunes; your last.fm profile is updated; the tunes show up in your sig.

you can modify the last.fm code to show the 1,2,10 etc most recent tracks. using it on my forum right now.

Yes this mod works with 3.6.0.... which is why it's in the 3.6.0 modifactions area.
