As I said, it's about fairness - If you are innocent of any of the current issues being discussed then you have nothing to worry about - Your hack will be added back to the following month's HOTM poll :)

Some of the hacks within the poll have this code within them - Since a decision has not yet been reached as to how to proceed with such hacks, removing them half way through the poll when a decision has been reached, and therefore enraging users who have already voted for those removed, and cannot then transfer their vote to another hack would cause alot more problems than simply eradicating it before the issue arises, and adding you to the next HOTM...

Thats compleley unfair. The way HOTM works now is that users that use these hacks THIS month get the opportunity to vote for the nominees. Why would I want my hack added to Junes poll when by then, other hacks have been created within that period of time. I only seen one hack in that poll that broke this new rule.

Just because they have been created does not mean they will get in the HOTM thread - The HOTM system is changing for the better...

But then if i release a hack next month, i'm penalised. This is in no way just, you can say it's something you had to do but you can't dress it up as just, that's wrong IMO.

This is total BS. NEVER ONCE did anyone inform me that my hack was being removed from the poll. I did nothing wrong and find it completley unfair that I and the rest of the nominees have to suffer for a new rule that has gone into effect.

Only one hack had broke this new rule, and this HOTM was posted BEFORE this new rule went into effect. So in theroy, Paul M has done nothing wrong, he followed all the guidlines and desverve to still be apart of the running.
