Well, first thing, no need to get upset...we're trying to provide feedback on your style, which is what you originally asked for.

As for the navigation menu, I am speaking of the bit that contains the register, user cp, f.a.q., downloads, vbgarage and arcade links (just to name a few). To me, the menu is too large and takes up too much of the screen.

I'd rather not scroll down any more than I have to and when I have to scroll so far on every page visited, it tends to get redundant.

Okay so wer do u suggest i put it??

Btw.. no offense.. but .. i looked at other forums in the posts...
But.. non of them... are even comparable to mine?
they dont even have a nice flash home page?
Second.. they dont even have the "Torrent Tracker"

Personally, I think the flash splash is redundant.

Also, getting to the forums is confusing, especially because of the metion of having to pay to access all.

I would never use something like that, as it would tend to put off a lot of prospective members.

Content (the stuff that people post, and written articles) is king, not a stupid flash of a lingere-clad woman.

I would agree that the flash screen is redundant not to mention that the loading time won't go down to well with people with slower connections. Don't get me wrong it looks nice But a half naked woman isn't my cup of tea. She has to be naked (that was a joke).

The nav bar area looks terribly cluttered, It's just to busy and taking up to much forum.index space. Colour usage looks bland and would become boring after a minute or two.

I've also noticed some custom images which are incorrectly saved in the wrong matte colour resulting in a white jaggy edge surrounding the image. Same goes for the default images which are still present (which ought to be changed for custom image) and some of them are incorrectly saved out to compliment the background colour of the style.

Images in the What's Going On? area have also been saved out in the wrong matte colour. Your forum style background is blue, The background to the images is a blackish colour which looks taccy, not to mention it showing a black square border.

Looking past the forum.index page there's a lot of default vb images still present which doesn't go down to well when used in conjunction with custom made images. Also, they are incorrectly saved out in the wrong coloured matte.

That said, Logo look okay.

Lets not confused complaints with constructive criticism :p

As many said before, i do think that your splash page can be more relevant to the content. As for the style, it is decent (although it is already a premade style). However, the only difference i notice is the inset outset feature. I also think that the navbar could be lessened a great deal and some things can be taken off the top to stop users from having to scroll down so much to view the forums.

you aren't getting complaints, you are getting criticism like you asked for.

it isn't about the time or money you put into your style or how many members you are getting to your forum. if you want people to be attracted to your site, there are basic rules you should follow. like having an easy navigation. you don't want people getting lost in your site do you? when people look at something and get confused, they'll move on to the next place.

i'd critique your theme, but i'm afraid you really don't want to hear it unless someone tells you that it is the sweetest thing ever..........

I posted. Now let's try this again. LOL.

OK...My humor is a bit off today (or am I?). As the previous members stated you did ask for feedback and they've obliged (on this and your previous thread). These members have taken the time to offer you suggestions. Take their comments with an open mind. If they present you with a critique that you don't agree with leave it at that; bashing them is not necessary.

In the end, it is your forum so run with it as you desire.
