Oh!! can you challenge Players in ibProArcade like you can in v3Arcade?

From what I've read so far on both systems, you can install games on both systems vise versa.

I finally found v3Arcade v1.0.6 + a whole bunch of addons....But than again the official site claims v1.1.0 will be out March 12th.

Ahhhhhh!!AAAAAAAAAAA :p

I hate it when there is no clear cut answer.

i had vbarcade when i was running 3.0 vb now im running vb3.5 and have ib running is there any way to get varcade to run with ib already installed pluse im asumming my db is still intact from the varcade

i used to use v3arcade on 3.0 i'm now using ipb arcade i installed it not knowing that it wasn't possible to challange. and i cant really uninstall it, because my users voted for it to stay as they didn't want to loose their highscores etc.

i'd go with v3arcade, i'm working on making a challange system for ipb because that just livens up the board, but since it's not out or anywhere seriously in the making by any real scripters (unlike myself)... i'd say go with v3arcade.

Ok I think this will be my last questions (cross your fingers) before I make a decision.

How is the Admin section of v3Arcade vs ibProArcade?

the v3Arcade Licensing thing is it necessary?

In v3Arcade I noticed there is a HighScore prune feature which I dont see in ibProArcade. Is this something that is necessary? If so, than what do you do in ibProArcade.

Back when I had vB 3.0.x I used ibProArcade, but I didn't like all the IPB coding crap that came with it. So when I upgrade to vB 3.5.x I installed v3arcade and used a hack that converted the games and scores.

I like v3arcade more than ibProArcade, since the version I used had a crappy admin interface. Looking forward to the new released of v3arcade that will be released in 2 days. :D

we started with v3arcade and so far never faced problems with same.. although ibproarcade sounds promising as well, with a nice interface and lot more features..

umm maybe theres no thread...comparing ibpro vs v3

ibproarcade rules all the way ..recntly 2.5.6+ released of ibpro..
ibpro support various types of games (v3,ibpro,pnflash)

other hand v3 support only v3 games..

ibpro 2.5.7+ will contain more feature..what is absent in v3..
ibpro have its own flow of update with too kool support forum....MrZeroPage is Mr.Nice Guy for support....
Ibpro also have various vba cmps module too..

All i can say..IbproArcade Rules.......we are using it been 1 yr..
Suggetion is ours
dicission is urs...........

I think its been over a month since I posted this thread and I still havent made up my mind which to install.

This is bad.

I'm usualy pretty good at comparing similar software and choosing the best one.

But I'm stuck with this one.

Ok some more questions and this is the final I promise. :)

Both Arcades come with the following list of games.

ibProArcade
tetris
snake
simon
pacman
moonlander
invaders
hexxagon
breakout
asteroids

v3 Arcade
tetris
spaceinvaders
snake
chopper
asteroids

On the v3 Arcade Feature list it says "Supports both v3 Arcade and iB games." does that mean I can bring hexxagon, breakout,simon, moonlander from the ibPro Package into v3 Arcade?

While looking at screen shots for both systems I noticed on the ibPro Arcade one that there is Burger Time one of my all time favourite classics.
