Can user's choose what sound they want? or can we as admins?

No, it is completely random. If you only want 1 sound, you would put only 1 wav file in the directory, and change 1 line of code.

Is there a setting so that a user can turn it off if they don't like the sound?

Yes, in their USERCP, edit options. (see screenshot) :cool:

yes it must be but i don't understand how.....it happened on two files....the last few lines on the file were copied and then pasted right below the original lines. but oh well i have removed it finally and i will try again just not quite yet...noticed it might interfere with one i all ready have. am weighing the pros and cons.

Works great, but how do I get it to work with vbAdvanced? It only works when visiting the main forum area, and not anywhere on my CMPS page.

I can't get it to work at all. I've run the query via phpmyadmin. I edited all the templates and get no sound when sending a private message. I uploaded all the sounds to the main root folder. It didn't work, so I tried the forums folder, but still no go, any ideas? And yes I also added the new phrase as well.

Problems with 3.6.6. Anybody knows another one for this updated version?
