We upgrade in 4.4.2 and we have seen better performance !
Now the have : - Apache 2.2.0 - Php 4.4.2 - MySQL 4.0.20 (we think upgrade at least to 4.0.26) With 756 users online, the load is 2,57 1,89 1,72 I think it's good now :-) Thanks all ! |
Not to hijack this thread, but I don't see any performance fixes in your post, Zachery. And I don't see anything which seriosly affects the dedicated server owners running nothing more than vBulletin in that impressive list of security fixes. Some of them fix issues which appeared first in 4.4.0! And the $GLOBALS issue is fixed in 4.3.11, according to hardened-php project.
Also, apparently php 4.3.x is still considered stable enough by RedHat in their RHEL4 product: it's at 4.3.9 with relevant fixes ported from upstream. |
