as for the bug: i think i have to look into the update profile code a bit, maybe that changed during 3.0 -> 3.5 and therefore breaking our title system

Yep preventing coders from splitting their hacks up, just to get a better title.

it's a choice we made and it will stay, and maybe the numbers may change, but it's still no reason why you NEED to know, it's just that you WANT to know

i think if we know the the exact number we will interest in installs number and ignore the code quality and many other things

To be honest all I have ever wanted to be was an advanced coder. So I'm happy its just unfair to all the 'coders' who are just 'coders' even though they may be more advanced than an advanced coder. So really advanced means Popular and that's the only problem I have with it. It should either be about technical ability or not at all.

just work hard, do ur best people will love ur hacks they will install it, u will be master coder and don't forget to support ur hacks this is one of make people like u and ur hacks and keep updating ur hacks

Master/Advanced means nothing anyway, ive had various in both ask me for advice and help in different aspects of coding based on my knowledge of the language itself.

I was merely curious, I dont care if I ever get the title or not ;)

ps. xeon; there are several members with 4-5 hacks, and maybe 300-400 installs that have master title; the obviousness of the changes made over time is there ;)

In defense of these coders, why should it be on 'install', surely more people will download rather than click install. Shouldn't it all be based on this. Give these guys the credit they deserve.

Whatever it is, a hacks install count should be credited as half if the support option is not checked.

Another option would be to give these guys there own room where they could democratically invite coders in and discuss the hierchy levels.
