I've used serverbeach in the past with good luck, go with a base dedicated unit - you don't have enough going on to overload it.

Most of us aren't going to drop quotes into your lap, you'll have to do some work to get what you're after.

i suggest hostgator.com, as they can handle vbulletin installations softly, they have a vb forum as their support forum... and the guys have really good reviews and rating actually... and i even got no points for the referee..lol

One minute you have 557 people signing up in one day, the next you have just 50 active members ? Makes no sense.

I can't imagine why you would need a dedicated server for just 50 active members - but still - have you thought of getting a VPS ?

and it would help if you mentioned what your budget actually is.
