Vegas, the author of the first post, is one of our paying members (The "Gold Member" image is shown via user ranks).

However, Vegas is also a moderator. I used this mod in 3.0.x to give him a "Moderator" icon as well. Without this, I can't give him that icon, and that's my reason for wanting this mod ported.

But you can use the condition, and you can also use the rank, because multiple ranks are possible in 3.5

It's great, I ended up doing something else though. You can use User Titles to do it, also. They are now configurable using Html, so I just did it for the Mods and Admins as a html image tag. Check out the thread here:
