IB Pro Arcade.
I like having the top played games and latest games when you go to the arcade. Lots of other cool things. Also, all support is given here instead of at a secondary site.

PS MrZeroPage did it for free.

v3 Arcade
it needs more add-ons, features, then itll be nice

I think v3arcade is both better coded and just better looking, more feature rich, just a more complete overall product.

First of all, IBproarcade for vB is still an emulation, the system is still tricking the arcade into believing it is vBulletin, and that seems as though it might add a little more processing time.

v3arcade is a more solid, just overall the whole package solution. :)

Who said John did not? You have to put into your head that John's hack is only John, his work. ZeroPages is someone elses work, and he did not have to do everything from scratch.

hmm.. then go tell that to the people in the v3arcade support thrread who are having multiple problems trying to uninstall/reinstall/upgrade

We were having problems with both arcades when they were initially released. That's a hazard of initial releases of large scripts.

I don't think you are going to get a good answer by posting a "which is better" thread. The arcades are too political a topic around here right now for some reason.

There are good things and bad about both. You should play with both and see which you prefer.

It's no good asking anyone else - if you bothered to read the multitude of other threads on the same subject you would see that both have good and bad points, and the choice is personal.

If by multitude of threads you mean multitude of childish rants that lack any respect for all parties involved and have been closed, then yes, you are correct.

I lean towards v3arcade because I am used to it and like many do not like change, BUT there seems to be a lack of games for it. I have not installed either for 3.5 yet as im still trying to resolve this riddle.

Either one of these effectively implemented mutiplayer without any charge?

Let's not turn this into another one of "those" threads, shall we?

Why must you be so ignorant?

I use v3arcade and I didn't pay a dime. So how is it not free?

Please curtail your flames or this thread will be locked again.

Why would I want to do that - it's not my hack. You made an incorrect statement, I corrected it. Simple as that.

No, not in so many words - but you did say this ;

Which seems to imply that you think that v3 is not free.

BTW - in case you are wondering - we ran the IPB version for a year until we upgraded to 3.5 - atm I have had both the new versions on test and will probably stick with v3 as it's written from scratch for 3.5 - as opposed to IPB which is an emulation. There are a couple of IPB features that I will miss but such is life.

I find the arguments (and ignorance) of some posters for/against each quite amusing - so much fuss over an arcade ......
