You have to set usergroups permissions.

1/ Upload the files from the "Files" directory in your forum root
2/ Upload the content of the "Images" directory in each of your forum styles directories
3/ Import the MGC Chatbox Evo product
4/ Go in your admincp, in the Language manager > Download/Upload language file and then :
- Select the language file from the "Lang" directory
- Select the forum language to overwrite
- Set the ignore language verison to Yes
- Launch upload

I didnt see a launch upload anywhere?

This is not a "Launch upload" button of any sort. It's an import language button I think.

Hello I have an important suggestion. Some of my users don't refresh the page and stay on the shout box. The appear offline, but they are in the shout box chatting. It would be nice, if those users not refreshing the main index page, but refreshing the shout box page would show up on line. I though it was a bug, but vbulletin told me it was an issue on your side

Anyone can help, to understand what is the difference b/w flashchat, MGC chat box, Cyb Chat box and AddonChat(Free version) ?

I think I know what you mean. I'll be in the chat... But tabbed (meaning more then 1 browswer tab) and on another site. I'll click back to the tab and I'm not listed. It's more an ajax thing??? (VBdev?) or something else. It's also more a feature then a necessity. Yes, it's nice to know who's in it, but who sits there waiting for a s/n to come on to post.

Google ;)

Flashchat uses ajax (I think) and java and flash. It intergrates into forum, it's not officially part of it.

CybChat is good, but lacks features (and no, I'm not saying cuz of mgc)

Addon chat? Never heard of..

MGC - Total intergration into forum.

My advice: Test them all, or find sites that use them. Prior to testing on YOUR forums, backup the forum db..... Always a good practice. Then decide which you and your users like. I've been using the chats for a few years and my personal choice is MGC due to support, updates, and just how it works.

If you would like help installing this on your site, send me a pm. I've helped numerous people get it going.
