Can't really see a problem with having ioncube installed on your server.Don't really see what the fuss is about other than people not reading posts again..

Try changing the Dojo Theme spcified in:
MGC Chatbox Evo : Advanced options -> DoJo Graphical Theme

Right now, no.

Anyways upcoming release will not be encoded so you'll be able to use it.

I need help after installing I had problems with IonCube, I tried to remove the php files, and fails.
I'm trying to access the admin panel but the screen is white with only the errors below:

The error is quite straightforward, you haven't uploaded the mgc_cb_evo folder in your forum root.

Check on your ftp.

So I guess I should never assume something...

Installed but it turns out the host does not have ionCube...site no longer works. Cant access the admin cp to remove the product. Site simply is white w/ the error others have posted.

Is there anything I can do to bring the site back? Does simply removing the files on the ftp bring the site back?

Theres no concern of the host not being able to get ioncube on the server, but I dont particularly want to sit around and wait right now.

Well perhaps reading the install instructions would help ;)

You have to set usergroup permissions.

Great chatbox!
one suggestion id like to make though is when doing a search, within the results can we have an option of finding say where a chat result is within the archive so we can view the whole conversation the search gave results for. Not sure if ive explained this right, but basically an option to "find this chat in archive" instead of having to search the date and time going through the pages of the archive which can be a pain.

Also updating from 3.0.0 to the latest version 3.2.2 will it be fine to do so?

Works Great in forum part but in vba cmps its all whit on my dark themes on forum its dark so how to fix for vba cmps.

Notifications are bugged on 3.2.2, this will be fixed in 3.2.3.

Private chat in tabs using the PM command check commands management and commands permissions. However, there is a bug currently that mess it up.

Activate the PM Command (admincp)
Set the PM command permissions (admincp)
Set the PM in tabs option in the command options part (admincp > settings)

Pretty straightforward ;)

Hum if you ask it's meaning that you don't have the skills ;)

Well basically you'd have to inspect what is the id of the object you want to tweak by inspecting the DOM with a tool like firebug. Then adding css code to the templates.

I can't get notifications to display for any usergroups except our admin usersgroups, which is odd. Removed myself from the admin usergroup and tried every usergroup -- only worked on the two we have reserved for webmaster and administrators. I have notifications enabled for each usergroup in question. I even tried enabling every single permission for MGC Chatbox Evo in the usergroup options, no dice for any of them.
