Are you sure you are running my chatbox coz I am absolutely sure this is not an error from the chatbox. I think I know my code... Changing the limit and seing it means nothing (unless you are using another chatbox and you think you did use mine). If I tell you this is not in the chatbox code really trust me... So please stop on that, this is not constructive...
The fact that it disapears when you deactivate the chatbox might come from the fact that you have set a refresh rate too low thus leading to mysql server gone away error messages on other part of the website. Setting a low rate might overload your server so I am pretty sure this is what happens as per regard to the error you stated. How much did you set for the refresh rate ? |
30 seconds :)
|
That's strange 30 seconds shouldn't use too much server.
Do you have your board on a free host or a paid one ? |
I have an own server y a hoster...
are 30 Seconds to high? I don't think so. |

2.0 development update
Hi all, Last week I made no update post as I hadn't been able to work on the chatbox due to the problem I encountered with my website. Now that they are finished I had been able to work on the chatbox :) I think I can tell ya that the development has reached the 50% progress, and now things are going to go faster as all the problematic parts are now solved. The remaining thing are easy coding (except perhaps one part but don't worry I'll handle that he he). This weekend I have worked on the user end part. I will probably provide you with screenshots of some of the enhancement for christmas ;) However I don't think I will be able to release it for christmas. I think the beta launch will rather be beginning of january as I'll have some time to code during holidays. Cya next week for another development update and start to be ready for close beta launch! |

And how i can put that in the online.php ... and arcade.php? And where i can get the new update? |

To put it in the arcade.php, this is explained in the readme. The new update is not yet available, this is development udpate status ;) Anyone has been able to test the chatbox on vb3.7 beta 2 ? |
Upgrade to vB3.7.0 Beta 2. In my testvb instance, with MGC Chatbox V1.5 already installed, upgraded from vB3.6.8 PL2 with Blog V1.0.2 Upgrade to vB3.7.0 Beta 2with Blog V1.0.3.
After the upgrade, MGC Chatbox V1.5 was working and displaying properly, even after I reverted all of my templates to 3.7.0. I could go into the Archive, view diff Archive pages, delete entries. Both General and Team channels worked. So far, it works just fine. |
