Settings/options/show all settings

the arrow shows how far it lists before it stops, lists all fine when mgc disabled again. styles and language settings.

Not sure what you meant ?

You are talking of chatbox CMS widget ? It's not included in default release, it's an aside product.

PMs are showing up blank, you have to tab back and forth between the user and the main channel to see what was said.

If this was a known issue I apologize in advance.

*** EDIT *** One user with Chrome reports PMing works normally for them.

Also have the same Firefox \ IE issue. Cannot sticky msg, admin functions etc.

I don't even get a tab when I PM. Just says To then the persons name. It's private, but a new tab doesn't spawn.

Ok, got it. Yeah, I can get the tabs, but I have to go back to the General piece to see it. Same issue as above.

Upgraded to the latest paid verison with the CMS intergration addon running on VB 4.1.10 the only issue I have are with the Avatar's on the shout box on the home page CMS do not show in some browser's but they seem to work on the forums page ok but this has been Confirmed as a bug awaiting fix.

Thumbs up to MGC for a great Chatbox :)

Ok here's how I personally fixed the Private Messaging issue.

I installed Chrome (PM still didn't work)
Restarted FireFox
Private Msged someone with Firefox - Suddenly it started working.

Tons of my users reporting the same though, works for some using Chrome, doesn't for many others.

Still not working on Chrome for me or IE


Edit- Logged back in today, and now the PM isn't working again :(

I have experienced a bug where the moderation menu does not respond to any commands. I have doubled check the permissions and I do have access to things such as "sticky chat" , report chat" etc... any ideas?

Also, I was wondering if there was a way to extend the submenu's header background images to 100%. I have a custom theme/skin and there seems to be an issue of some sort. screen shot provided and the issue is highlighted with a red translucent box.

So PM are only showing on chrome ? I developed using Firefox (latest version) and Chrome, was having no problem, this is odd.

When not working with Chrome, could you please activate the developer tools and see if any javascript error is reported ? Same with IE (can't test with IE as I have a MAC)

This bug has already been reported I gotta look at it.

Regarding your style issue, this is odd, when looking at the css on my forum, there is no reason you have such display.

Are you familiar with using firebug to inspect the DOM ? Coz it would be interesting to get a closer look at the final generated css for those elements.

Anyone that has the pm or command issues please check with developer tools in your browser (or firebug in firefox, as extension) to see if you have any javascript error

So I take it this is only available in German, I tryed to install and everything is in German...

This ain't german, it's french.

Btw, I think you perhaps haven't gave a close look at the readme file in which install instructions are detailed.

English is available as additional language file, you have to install it (explained in the readme). I'll change this in the next version and will make it default english.

Im having this issue where my styles and languages settings are not fully there. Me and another guy on the main VB support forums worked it out and disabling your shoutbox brings the settings back...


For me and im not sure if this is the same for others, when i disable the mod from manage plugins my whole site goes down with this error

With the ioncube for 5.2, I think you should be able to run the chatbox.
You can try if it's by just uploading the mgc_cb_evo.php file and calling it from your browser, you'll get a ioncube loader error if it's not compatible.

No even for customers files are encrypted.

Why did the host install the loader v5.2 while they are running PHP 5.3 ??

I mean the installer comes with a wizard telling the admin what to do..
But then again, admins don't like being told what to do .. lol

So, once again, he needs to ask the host to use the ioncube_loader_5.3
and maybe run the included wizard .. just a thought.

Yes It's fine, I have been able to reproduce this bug, I'll fix this when doing the bug fixes.
I hope to release a new version somewhere end of the month.

Getting the error:

Site error: the file /home1/*****/public_html/mgc_cb_evo/plugins/init_startup.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation.

in my php.ini its enabled:

zend_extension=/usr/lib64/php/modules/ioncube_loader_lin.so

Any Ideas? I have to disable plugins just to get back into the admin panel.

Been looking all over, but so far still looking for a way to display the chatbox only on one specific forum, as opposed to all forums or the main page. I found a post reporting a bug relating to this, but never found where anybody had found a workaround. Is there a way to put the chathbox in just one forum?

Well it's not that I need something, it's just that as is I can't tell you why.

As I said this seems to be very style specific and unless you have firebug to check on yourself I can't tell.

There is no need for a workaround, you have an option for that :
Ids of the forums in which the chatbox shall be displayed

Someone already submitted the information you needed correct? The PM issue happens for probably 80% of my users. If I use my Iphone, there's no issues. Some Chrome users it works for.

Let me know if this is on your radar to fix, otherwise I need to revert back to an older version
