i can't have access php.ini and host does not allowed to make any changes from (host) server side.

Have you asked your host to know if ionCube can be activated ?

Bitwise install is not necessarly on server side, it installs through a php script so even on shared host it could be installed.

Ok boss, installed in my test to see how it works and got small bugs here and there.

The sound button is not showing
Input type editor is cropping down after reload and writing not being colored in it....all white and can't see what we are writing
Main text field not displaying chats, only loading... but works after writing a text ( that i can't see because of the above)
Dojo not working at all and can't select any style ( could this be because of full modified skin...by me?)

Add a text whit error after installation was done but couldn't read ...too fast to see

As for the rest, it seem to work fine

Sorry for bringing bad feed back but we will surely find those minor bugs ;)
I will go on your site and give some $$$ for your work bud :)

None of the local loader links work, maybe you have to be a logged in as a member?

Any way I will have to wait and hope to see if Ipower will upgrade, unless you come up with a backwards compatable solution to older versions. For your info IPOWER's servers run Zend Optimizer version 3.2.0.

One last thing i noticed is that the menu options when you click the down arrow next to a user name do not work. like "remove chat" for example if you click it, it does nothing

My users love the chat box. It's probably the only mod on my site that the users can actually see and particpate with.

Just got an answer from my host.

They can't do the update since i am on a shared web hosting service so the only way would be to go on a more more expensive solution and i will not do it only for this.

So too bad, i'll stick to the 3.0.0...

VBadvanced: attempted to enable via these instructions but didn't work:

Prior to installing this new version, these instructions worked. Is anyone using vbAdvanced with this new version? If so, what did you do to get it to show on your vbAdvanced page. It does show on my forum page with no issue.

I tested it and it worked. vB version ? Any error if you activate developer tools in a browser like chrome ?

Or firefox with firebug extension.

Okay as you wish. It is possible though to install loader quite easily apparently even on shared server.

Hi VBDev,

my users couldnt use the action box.

Like xyz?s Profile.

When they klick on it, nothing happens.

I checked it. It works on Chrome, but not with Firefox and IE8/9.

Any idea?

For vB3 users, there was a small bug in class_display.php.

Find attached the fixed file, zip file updated though.

I see a display issue when an admin/mod clicks the down arrow to bring up the "Actions" menu. The lower the chat is, the more the "Actions" menu is covered by the element below it.

I've attached two examples that shows this.

You or your host needs to install IONCUBE loader in the php.ini.

Available free from: http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php

Assuming a linux host here:
1.) I extracted all the files from the downloaded file to /usr/lib/php/modules/
2.) Edit the /etc/php.ini and add a line similar too:

zend_extension = /usr/lib/php/modules/ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so

My error was for version 5.3 so that is the .so file I linked. Your's is saying version 5.2. Then you restart apache.

Your configuration may vary, but this is quite common.

Are all of the options supposed to be in French? I uploaded the language file like it said to from the Lang folder, however all of the MGC options are in the French language. I can't even edit the Usergroups page because all of those settings are in French too. How can I change that to English?

Assuming he has access coz you seem to be having a dedicated server CrypticGTX.
He can also install it using the php file included in the loader zip in case he is on a shared server.
