I have one, i have trouble understanding the permissions in the usergroup manager. What do the following options do:

• Do you want to Approve Ads?
• Can use Autopost Feature?
• Can post Ad as Idividual?
• Can post Ad as Store Owner?
• Listing Priority (1=Higher, 99=Lower)

Is there a way to buy a commercial version of this mod? Absolutely love it!

testing the mod, I removed the lines specified on line2757, now I get this message when I attempt to buy the item.

We are having the same problem. Can you post up the specifics to fixing the directory permissions. Still sort of a novice here.

When you upload your files via FTP do the following:

- Go to: /domains/youraddress.com/public_html/microclassifieds
- Right mouse click on the "Photos" folder and select permissions. Set the value to 777
- Do the same for the folders in the Photos folder: thumbs and tmp

if someone has clicked the buy button and the seller has not accepted the sale or rejected it no one else will be able to buy it.

approve ads is the moderator setting

autopost is for when someone buys it the ad it automatically displayed again for when you have multiple items

ad as individual and store. if it is a store posting the ad they have them displayed store section and same for individual.

some usergroups you want to have a higher priority than others like if its a paid membership you can have them display more often than a regular user and if you want them to be a premium item you can set that to 1

no doc that i know of. i have been using this for a long time and just know how it works.

if you select yes to "do you want to approve thread" in the than that usergroup can approve ads. all ads go into moderation. i think that only certified users can post ads without moderation.

you should only have moderators and admin authorized to approve the ads. otherwise every user could approve their ads and reject everyone else's

We have multiple user groups on the forum and I would like to give them all the opportunity to post an advertisement without any moderation at all.

Does that mean that i set all those usergroups to: "do you want to approve threads: no"?

Also when I as admin post an ad they show up under "new owner classifieds" when others post their ads are only visible in the categories.

For now I don't want enable "shops" or "shopowners" but would like to give everybody the same rights but dont know what to change :)

i would recommend that you moderate all ads so that nothing illegal is posted for sale.

i would only set the moderators and admin to yes all others no for approving ads

i would check the microclassified general settings to see how many owner classifieds you have entered to be displayed.

I downloaded the newest version and I might sound now like a complete idiot but when I put up an item for auction there is no "save" button. I just can't save anything

is there an accept button at the bottom?
do you have all the permissions set?
does it show up in the moderator section?

I have set all the options usergroups. NO approval required
I don't see anything in the moderation panel for approval
At the bottom it only says: APPROVE. When I click on the box next to it I get a blank page

ok let me say this for all to read
the PM'ing of the seller or the bid owner works. the error comes from trying to PM any one watching the item. the error has been found will be addressed by chris when i get to talk to him. if you want a copy of my classified.php that works PM me and i will send it to you but i do not want to advertise it on this thread as it takes away from the owners features and i dont feel it is right.

your file worked great, I only needed to remove the open bracket at the end to get it working, now the pm seller link works great. the module is actually working pretty good now, Wish I could pay for additional options.

what open bracket? i am running that file on mine with no issues on firefox, ie or chrome

you posted the code a few pages back, when I pasted it into the line, an uploaded it, the page came back with an error, I looked and saw an open bracket, removed it and it now works perfectly. great job

is it possible for prospective buyers to post questions that all could see? also, i'd like to remove the auction feature as I do not allow members to auction items for sale.

Where in the css do i change the text colors and background colors in the table. i use a darker forum theme and all the light colors stick out like a soar thumb and some text is not even visable. i have have been playing with it for ever and cant make any progress. Is there a way to make the table inherit the color theme?

maybe in a later update there could be some different color themes available

we are unable to look at it because you have not given unregistered/not logged in visitors permission to view the classifieds.
