I'm not getting any notification of PMs.

Not sure if it is a conflict with an arcade or not but someone sent me a PM but the notification system recognised it as a Arcade Notification!

Instllaed last night. Its still laggy compared to older version, especially 3.0...especially on Chrome and Safari.

Whatever you did from 3.0 to now definetly effects performance on this. I could have v3.0 set at 5 seconds and have zero lag...I get lag on every page load at 30 seconds now.

....thats with all sliders uninstalled as well.

Just got that one as well. PM's worked and was testing it out then one of them gave me an arcade notification....i have no arcade. lol

Lol, I've got two arcades but neither of them is the one supported in this mod :confused:

Had to uninstall. I love this plugin and would love to have the new features but it lags too much and getting various bugs.

Reinstalled 3.0 and its working flawlessly.

I want to roll back to the previous version but I can't find a link for download...

be sure to uninstall the old notification product first.
I had the array issue as well but uninstalled and installed again and it worked fine.

Just tested the PM and it worked fine. If you do not have arcade and other mods installed, be sure they are not active in the notification options.

Not sure how its lagging for you...works effortlessly with on 4 of my instances..

Please give me a modification list of yours. Need to figure out what is bugging it out.

We picked the top 2 arcades...other ones will fall with the dust ;)


If your experiencing a lag issue, please post all your mods you have installed.

- Also please try on a test server and let me know if it is lagging.

Got it all working. Had to re-jig a couple of things and moved the dropdown menu to appear under a new link (Your Settings). Looks good so far but still testing ;)

This doesn't have a wall/status feature so that is why you aren't seeing it.

This means your images are in the wrong location. Add the images to your misc theme directory :)

I still get that database error I posted earlier, Dave. I had to disable the mod.

The header portion doesn't seem to be working. I have just the friends and updates enabled right now and they point to my usercp. Any idea on why this is happening?

Ok got that fixed. I had it manually installed before. I simply reverted my header template to before I had installed it. I enabled "Yes" for template edits via the options and that works.

Now just my CSS is messed up...

Glad you hung in there.

Add the custom css from manual to the top of additional.css and see if it applies.

Both we've added ours in to decrease your total mod count, or you can add more specific based items using the other mod

That was it! Hmmm...so the same CSS that goes into the livenotifications.css works in additional.css? I did have some of your CSS in there before, so that is how I probably got it to work before.

One thing I noticed with vBAdvanced (vBA) 4.2.1 with vB 4.2.0 PL 2

notification display does not update.

on forums and CMS i have 0 notifications. when viewing CMPS (vBA) it shows I have notifications.

just want to know what I can do to correct this. I assume vBA is missing a requirement when it loads the would update the notifications. It has options to load replacemets/required .php files
