i have downloaded this:
MICROCART_114_16_05_2011a.zip

now i cant figure out ,why is not uploading all pictures from the admincp
some are broken,also each item on main site ,photo is broken also.

any advice?

This is the only free version of this script and its not supported any more as its so out dated.

As you will see from other members they have uploaded the missing file from an older version of vbulletin to get it to work with this version.

The support i give to this free script is very limited as i have said its so out dated now i dont have the time to change the code for this.

I will help out from time to time and answer any questions that may come up.

Im working full time on my commercial scripts and dont have the time to update free scripts.

I can tell you that the commercial version does work on vb version 4.1.12 without any problems and its got alot more than this free version.

Can somebody help me on this one.

I am selling a subscription on my forum that allows members to upgrade to a "Premium" membership. This "Premium" membership allows them to PM other members and have custom avatars and signatures etc.

When they do an ugrade using the forums subscription service it moves them to the "Premium" usergroup. This "Premium" usergroup becomes their primary usergroup. This usergroup changes the users profile name orange etc. This way you can easily see in the "Who has visited" section who is a premium member and who isnt.

When you use the subscription section on micro cart is adds the subscription but only adds the new usergroup as an additional usergroup not the primary one. This means that their name doesnt change colour etc.

Two questions -

1. Is there a way to make micro cart change the primary usergroup rather than adding an additional usergroup ??

or if not

2. Is there a way this can be done in the vbulletin software? I have the "Premium" usergroup set to "override primary group title/markup" but when I did a test that didnt seem to happen.

The test i completed meant that the members primary usergroup stayed as a "RegisteredMember" and they had "Premium" usergroup as an additiona usergroup.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes the commercial version does work on version 4.2
and there is a new upgrade coming out soon that will add the menus to the vbulletins menu manager.

paid version. installed on vB 4.2.0 PL2 - works great but unable to change CSS options to match custom styles

how to change main CSS...

trying to change the background color to match my styles.

adjusting templates don't work either
microcart.css isn't working
microcart_main isn't working

you need to edit this file as there are more then one css file

microcart\js\style.css as this one controls the page layout manager css

i will be changing all css files to be in one place very soon.

when clicking on NEW for Coming Soon or any other menu option that has this page with the new button brings up nothing. it just sits there - LOADING

Hey Michael,
I know you are a busy person however was wondering if there would be an update to this soon. I would really love to get it for some new ventures however it currently isn't supported on the newer versions of vB.

Careful with the full version. I couldn't get mine to work and was told I could get a refund and then - after not being able to use it - I'm now offered a partial refund but not sure I'll get that.. I'll delete this when I do..

Although not a perfect cart for what we use it for, this mod works well on our forum using 4.2. We have had a little trouble finding where to change the css colors for a couple of the background colors, but nothing major that we are worried about. Check it out below....

Yeah, we just moved everything to a dedicated server this week and got that error after the move. We have the full version so we are having TotallyScripts handle it.

It was at one point, but ever since migrating to a new dedicated server it has had errors. We have since built an off site store and have been linking back and forth between the two and attempting to make the transitions as seamless as possible. I am about done with the theme of the new store and plan to make changes to the forum to fall into line with the store.

But before the server migration it was working really well. It had a lot of functionality in the paid version. Although there are a few things that are not or have not been possible that we were looking for. One example is using CSV files for mass product database uploads, with microcart this is not possible so it does take a good while to upload a respectable number of products.

Why doesn't this mod work for the latest vB4? I've just uploaded and it appears to work fine. Where is the conflict?

You need to allow site redirections:
Admincp-> Settings-> Options-> Site name /URL
Add:
https://www.sandbox.paypal.com
https://www.paypal.com
to the white list.

If you mean vB4.2 the difference is on the Navigation. This version uses a different way for navigation menus. You can add them manually or ask the author for an update.

*** ATTENTION ***
Downgrading the user means that he is going to usergroup 2 (Registered Members). So if you're selling another product which also promotes the user to a higher usergroup, then the user will LOSTS that promotion. That's why using the additional usergoups is the best choice.
