I have used this mod for about 2 months, no improvements, however, as mentioned in posts above, avoid using on big forums, I learned that lesson the hard way. Uninstalled.

What is the problem with big forums?

Best regards

Maybe huge db tables with search terms... Anyway, for forums with 5-7k users per day (60% of them comes from search engines) this mod works well, mmm, nearly well, ?cuz some improvements are required

Erm no you do not have permission to post it, sorry. They will frown on that.

We have this, but we can't figure out how change the text color for it. It looks like Visitors found this page by searching for is controlled by secondarycontent_color, but what controls the search terms text? We can't figure it out.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

Thanks in advance.

jojojijijojo1 08-13-2012 09:03 PM

Searches coming from google chrome are not detected, anyone know how to solve this issue?
I tested Firefox and it works fine, but when the visit come from google chrome it does not get detected.
Edit: ok it seems working one, I guess if I'm logged into my google account searches don't get detected by this plugin. Any fix for that instead?

I can't remember off hand but isn't there css within the created templates (3 of them), something like -
Code:

background:none; display:inline; border:none; color:black;
Change the color:black; part

Thanks.

Changing the color in the f_seo_plugin_home template did it.

Now I've got to get it in threads, haha.

After using this mod I see no SEO benefit
the only thing that this mod seems to be good at is providing a linkback to the developer

If the developer does not care about what customers are saying about his modification, or answer question to potential customers he must not care about the reputation of his name or his website.

Do yourself a favor and uninstall this mod. It is nothing but trouble with a linkback.

Why link to a website that is very poor in seo its-self

FinalFantasy 09-16-2012 11:45 AM

Seriously.. i was searching several minutes for the thank/like button but finaly found it ( it was the heart icon)

Anyways.. i just want to say thank you for this awesome mod!!
You're the best, keep up the good work :p

craigvm 09-17-2012 07:27 PM

Yeh i was excited about this mod so installed and after several days i did not see any changes.
I did see a higher load on the server because of this mod and im not just talking about a lil bit... i have a pro linux server and cloudflare which can take a lot but this mod really slowed my website down.

I do NOT ecommended this mod for those on shared host nor VPS!!!

Naijasite 11-10-2012 08:44 PM

this mode works perfectly well on my Vb 4.2 am really getting alot of traffic from the search word from Google.

Naijasite 11-10-2012 08:45 PM

please how do i reduced the search word size

final kaoss 01-09-2013 03:02 AM

you would have to manually edit the templates to do this.

Kiss Of Death,... this mod is the kiss of death.

Abandoned, yet worried?

The only thing fuzzy bout this is the hair around the plugin.

No vote from me.

Meestor_X 01-10-2013 06:23 PM

SEOForums.org looks to be abandoned as well. Nothing but spam posts now.

ringnews24 02-16-2013 10:31 PM

How do I take this off my front page? but keep it on all the posts.

muimui 05-17-2013 03:45 PM

Not only that...

Hear me out for a second, now I realize there can be MANY things that affect SE Placement however, after a few months of using this mod, seeing results pour in, keywords popping up for threads, I noticed last month my traffic from Google dropped drastically.

Keep in mind I have made NO other modifications to my vbulletin and it generally is still indexed by google (the main pages at least). But once thriving, big threads with lots of discussions that used to get lots of traffic from Google are now DEINDEXED.

I'm interested to see if anyone else ran into this penalty from using this mod; all things considered its costing me thousands of hits per month.

Google even says, before employing any methods would you feel comfortable explaining the method to a Google Representative. And although it seemed like a great idea when I was installing it, contacting google and explaining what this mod does gives me pause.

final kaoss 06-25-2013 10:00 PM

Sorry to hear your loss but I've been running it since it's release in early 2010. I've seen nothing but gains in traffic. As for explaining it to google, I don't see any issues with that either.

iref2010 06-28-2013 06:46 PM

Would this plugin work on Version 3.8.7?

final kaoss 06-29-2013 03:29 PM

No, it is not designed to work on vbulletin 3.x software, only the 4.x series.
