I seem to have gotten some kind of database error after installing this:

(Im using 3.8.0)

I'm pretty sure you can do this. When you recalculate things, you select what types of things you want to recalculate as well as what forums. You also specify if you want to zero everyone's credits or add to them when you do this.

I have tried to install, but the navigation is not working properly. It is missing an '&'. Here's what I get in ACP navigation:

you are suffering from the libxml bug with vbulletin. to bypass, edit the forum/includes/xml/cpnav_credits.xml file and remove all occurances of do=options&

Just a suggestion.. why don't you post it in 3.8 mods section too :D

I mean that would be the first place I would look for mods for my board if I have purchased a new VB or have already upgraded. Plus having it there would assure me that it works for 3.8. No need to ask questions. :)

The install notes and other still need to be upgraded for clean install, few other things, however I'm sure darkwaltz will update this script to the 3.8.x mods area as soon as he's ready! In the mean time ... yeah it works great on 3.8.x

Created a test raffle, added user to it, then deleted the drawing before start date. Credit was not refunded to the user. Is there a setting to refund users?

add option so we can add site bux to members or add certain amount to all users also add a option to delete all bux also add option to check history and logs of donations

Hello, first I'd like to say great mod. I am using it on my forum and it works great. There are just so many options that you can control so many aspects; its a true coding wonder. Great work!

My question is... is there any way to control the Central Account or see how much is accumulated in it? I think it is a great feature being able to collect funds and disperse them, but kind of mysterious. It is just kind of in my nature to see what's going on as I am an accounting student :p

you can use the mass credit updater:

base 0, select all groups, select NO awards. run it.

even quicker to run this query if you are comfortable with it:

Are there another ways to recalculate credits for all users?

That is run as part of the product xml import. Unless the instructions say anything to do with it (they dont) then there is nothing to worry about :p

They can coexist. If you arent getting any points from either, then you havent confirgured either correctly (they wont normally conflict unless you set vbplaza to use credits)

unfortunately no (why would i have two different methods that do the same thing?) check your error logs in your site panel (cpanel, plesk, etc) to tell me exactly what the error is when that happens - although i suspect you just have a low memory restriction.

3) That appears to be the problem of the post thanks hack, not vbcredits. If you tried to integrate vbcredits with the post thanks hack, you probably did not follow directions correctly, and at any rate should be asking for support for that addon in the addon thread where you got it from on my site. thanks!

Everything is handled in the usergroup settings. You can define in vbulletin who had access to what, and or even make a totally new admin group, mod or other. It's pretty str8 forward.

you are missing the image which is why its doing that. if you dont want to return the missing image, you can edit the template to remove it.

through the admin control panel, only an admin can edit directly. using the Post Award System any group you wish can be enabled to use the ajax popup from within threads on every post. i recommend giving unlimited access to trusted groups only (such as the ones you listed)

question...if users get lets say 100 credits for posts is there a way that i can make a item that if they get 100 credits for posting they can trade in the credits to change there user group type?

by itself no. but i have products on vbcredits.com that can do it (the paid subscription itemtype for vbcommerce; vbcustomizer coming up in april) pm me or visit site for more info.

i believe there is a setting for points field in vbexp where you can put "credits" to make it use vbcredits. if you cant find it let me know.

Im attempting to install. FTP the files but when adding the product I get this message "Please upload all of the files that came with vBCredits before installing or upgrading!" and I have re uploaded the files as is twice. Unsure why it's telling me this.

EDIT: Nevermind... got it working....

How can I set it so that when a user deletes a thread they loose points? Thought I had that setup but it's not working.

Currently the last remaining issue that keeps vbcredits from being 1.4 gold is the broken post/thread negation awards. to allow you to at least complete the action without errors, the code was simply disabled. So, if you want to remove credits yourself i suggest allowing your moderators the use of the post award system, such that they can deduct credits as part of their regular maintenance, from right in the threads themselves.

"I've installed and reinstalled this a few times and it hasn't worked, followed instructions. When executing credits_plugins.php the following error is given: "Fatal error: Class 'vBulletinHook' not found in /home/forumname/public_html/forums/plugins/credits_plugins.php on line 16"
No options are showing up in the ACP aswell, though the XMLs are in the right folder. Any help is appreciated"
