i see the problem.
go to the passiveVid - Global Array plugin find this line (under // myspace):
and add an "i" after the # sign so it should look like this:

i tried that for the first array, and the first and second, and the video still isn't embedding

i found some things, like the extra
where the blue and the capitalized VideoID wasn't the same as the original myspace code. i tried changing it, but it didn't fix the embedding.

wmode="opaque" was also not in the original myspace code.

i don't know the coding, but i can look for patterns and look for something that doesn't match.

also the mode="opaque" is in two different places in the code, for each array

i got it to work with the fix i posted above. and it is because of the lower case videoid

you edit the custom replacement to change the display, you however cant change the height/width though because each service uses a different size.

got it, with the "i". It didn't embed the already posted urls, but it works for new ones.

ive installed the "product-passiveVid" XML file- via product upload, and I can now embed videos on the forum.

however when i try to install "bitfield_passiveVid" XML file, it says "Invalid File Specified".

and in the passiveVid setting i cant select what site to approve/disapprove:

what have i done wrong? - what do i need to do?

i did previously have vbtubepro installed - but i cannot delete for some reason....

Is that possible to add Google maps on it ? I know...Google maps is not a video but there's no doubt a lot o people would be glad for sure.
I'm using another mod but despite of this also a good one but it uses a BBcode. You know, I have a lot of "slow motion" guys at my forum it's been hard to teach them how to deal with BBcodes.

I have had problems with this mod. When it is enabled just one or two people have issues with threads not opening. As soon as I turn the mod off they can access the thread.

One question and it's because I'm a newbie but how do I get to the passiveVID Settings screen in my admin CP? I can't seem to find it like it's displayed in the linked image above. I got to the "Manage Products" and Edit on passiveVID but I don't see the PV's control panel.

EDIT: Another newbie question. There are 6 .zip files for this mod. I unzipped the first one and installed the files in there to my site. Are all the .zips linked or do I have to install each one?

I think you should just install the latest. I am sure that qll those zip files are older versions of the mod.

You only need to download and install only one of the .zip files. Hopefully the highest numbered, which is the latest version. The others files are older versions.

hi. I am not sure anyone can help you since it is isolated to 1 or 2 of your folks with the issue. The MOD seems to be working fine on other fourms, including your forum I think... except these 1 or 2 folks. if it was me, I would say the problem is with those 1 or 2 of your user's, not this MOD.

Therefore... no soup for you! .lol.

One Question and one request.

Is it possible to reduce the size of the video display window?

I ran into an issue with a custom VB skin utilizing a sidebar where space was a little to tight and adding the vid window created some formatting issues. I would love to be able to pick the size of the embeded video window from the passivevid settings in admincp. Like 90%, 80%, etc.

Can you add a feature for auto centering the vid instead of them all being aligned tothe left? I'm kind of anal about layout, and it would be cool if when your program autoparses the url, the alignment could be automatically specified in the usercp. Choose Left, Center, or right for example.

Can you add "Pokertube.com" to your list of supported video sites? I'll gladly send a donation your way if you can add this.

that would be nice, didn't notice until this was posted but all pages that have videos on them don't validate at w3c.org which is disappointing ;(

the embeds are taken straight from the actual video sites, nothing has been modified.
