i just installed this on 364, and when i am tryin to figure it out. big addon...

when i goto edit profile style settings, i get a loading page, then it locks up and says it cant be displayed.

on some styles i am also getting a error with some javascript codes loading.

ideas?

also when i go to upload a photo and i select the photo in browse options, and i click save, the address to my photo disappears and it doesnt do anything

let me get this straight 120 (more then a vb lic) just so i can install into the directory i want to? i hope no one was foolish enough to pay that. i uninstalled it. i'll wait until something better comes long. and i also don't like how heavily connected it is so the developer's site.

I think its worth it. if you think someone will come out with one anytime soon then your wait will be for EVER just like how long it takes for this one to come out so you can either appreciate it or just stick to the default vbulletin profile FOREVER.

when you pay that 120 you are completly removed from them you pay an extra to remove the copyright at the bottom. you can mod it the way you want and all....what else can you ask for?

theres an option to use vb header and footer wich will integrate your skin BUT not all the skins works well

Can this be set up so only certain members can use it either by a usergroup permission or userID in the adminPC?

We have the mod installed at Retro Radio Network and really like it, but encountered 2 problems:

1. Linking your Zoints Local profile to your Zoints Central profile does not work. It never actually links. In the end, for those who have requested it I have had to manually edit their Zoints Local info in the database to get them linked.

2. Communities do not show up after linking. It says "My Communities" but the field has nothing in it. And I am a member of a few communities at Zoints.

Other than that, I think it's great!

Error redirected to new page that says "Zoints MessageTemplate install/index does not exist."

I'm running into quite a few problems here.

1) I've predefined the path to most of my images with replacement variables and the profiles page doesn't seem to want to follow it. It will do ".com/forums//forums/image/etc". So that means I will have to manually go through and edit each of my replacement variables to "/forums/images/etc". Is there anyway around this?

2) Part of my meta description is showing up at the top of the profiles page. How and why would it be doing that?

3) The admin script won't let me log in to it. What do I need to change to make it so I can log in?

They put a lot of work into this...and they provide great support (without paying the $120). Great program:up: ...if you ask me, Zoints Local in not too expensive...vBulletin is too inexpensive.

I'd love to give this a try but their site is down??... project still alive?

We were doing some server work, sorry about that. We're alive and well (with some interesting news coming soon). We are having a small forum registration issue on our support forums since the server work though.

And we have version 1.0.3 coming very soon that fixes lots of bugs :)

My guess is that after the server move, your path changed. Find out from your host what the correct path is and correct it in /z/includes/localsettings.php

under vbulletin options it's off.

under php-info it's:
safe_mode On (local) Off (master)
safe_mode_exec_dir /home/www/empty/ (local) no value (master)

It means you're running safe mode. Ask your host to turn it off or i'm afraid Zoints Local won't work for you at this time.

alright i'm upgrading to this 1.03, i replaced all the files except the index.php and the detail.php in the install folder. I go to manage.php and I get this message:

Unable to find configuration file.

What I'm I doing wrong?

i have tried a few times but it stops halfway through or doesnt download at all.

Did you delete all your /z/ files first?

That message means that your /z/includes/localsettings.php file has been deleted. If you have a backup, upload that. Otherwise, go through /z/install/index.php until that file is created and then stop.

I assume you mean from here? No idea what the problem is. You could register your forum at http://zoints.com/forum.z then grab the file from here.
