Installed this just as described and I get no ad columns anywhere. Doesn't look like I did anything.

Add:

in both the header and footer code inserts. Add the </if> at the end of the inserts.

No more columns on those pages.

Have you uploaded your changed global.php?

If so, the other first place to check is your Default Template. That is where the templates get installed to.

If that one is not set to your parent-most style, the child styles won't get the templates.

question i have this installed also with vbadvanced is there any way to stop it from showing on the main page as well as the forums index??

For some reason I'm getting blank columns with no headers at all when I install this. I know I followed the instructions correctly. The install thing never did create the adcolumn_left and adcolumn_right templates for me, so is it possible that it never ran the database queries either?

I had the same problem.

Within the global.php where you added the 2 lines. Re-type them.

Actually, I was stupid. I edited the global.php file just fine and just forgot to upload the modified file. It's fine now, but thanks.
