got vblinks directory v2.0 installed on my test server, still waiting for v3.0 for my production site... can't wait :)

I made this inquiry in the 2.0 version thread and it was suggested I post it here:

In the next version, is there a feature to put the links in an order of your choosing (instead of alpha order), similiar to the smilie hack?

vB Links Directory 2.0 Build 2.5.0 will be released soon.
vB Links Directory 3.0 is still in consideration between 2 things.

I am trying to take out some coding that is in the header & headinclude portion of these templates, but I am driving myself crazy!

Could someone take a look at my page, and advise me what I have to do to delete this portion:

(Since it ties in with the rest of the board's pages, I just can't change the header & headinclude)

I have tried to make a header2 and headinclude2 templates with the verbiage deleted, but whatever I am doing is not right.

I've got vB Links Directory 2.0 on my site, but was going to re install it should I wait for 2.50 or 3 and upgrade or just wait for a full clean install? I'm currently building new templates on my site now for each section.

Keptic, I am on the same situation as PixelFX, so please tell us... :) How soon is soon for 2.5 or 3.0 ? No need to rush you though, I just think that this hack is almost necessary for my site...

I think we're all trying to wait as patiently as we can, but it ain't easy! :D

I was hoping it was going to coincide with the release of my new site this week, but it will probably be a bit later. ;)

Ok we have released some updates for v2...v3 will upgrade from that. I suggest you guys use v2 with the upgrade. We have continued development on v3 today, and will finish very soon. DW will be taking charge of the installation and upgrade.

By the way v3 will be FREE
