The problem lies in that initial { at the start of the new replacement variables...
Just follow the original instructions but when you see https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2003/03/1.jpg remove the { - replace it with: codefontcolor} codebackground} respectively. Works fine on 2.3.0 |

You have to change it for every step along the way - I did it and it works, just open the original instructions and use search/replace in a text editor..... |
im really only interested in the [quote] portion of this. however, i don't want the text being forced to another color if the person's text color is custom set (such as light blue).
would what i need to do be this: Code:
<table border="0" align="center" width="90%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td> |
nm, answered my own question when curiosity got the best of me and i just went ahead and tried it out. works fine.

Great hack, although i'm having one problem, I get the following error when ever someone quotes a message:
Code:
Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /web/domain.com/path/newreply.php(47) : eval()'d code on line 1 |
Anyone? :confused:
This hack works fine on my second and third template, but nor my default one. Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /web/www.cyclingforums.com/html/newreply.php(47) : eval()'d code on line 1 |
So is there a way to get this wo work with 2.2.9 without removing the { in front of the variables? I am trying to add this to the admincp and I can't right now... :(

I am having a problem with 2.30. I am hacking this into two new boards at once, and with both boards when I reply with quote to a thread, it quotes the sample text for the custom vb code "This is a quote", rather than the actual post. At first I thought I made a mistake hacking it in, but I double checked everything and it is doing it on both boards.
Any ideas? |
hello i just want the php of this hack and if possible the code part to it
the reason is that i got this template edit from VbulletinTemplates and i am not sure if it will conflict if i run the query |
