Just installed (was using it in my 3.8 install though).

I'd like to see it so that I (the admin) can set an award NOT to show up in the awards list in awards.php. Basically so it only shows up on postbits and memberlist if someone has the award.

I have awards setup that I use to create new awards later. This way they are already there and I don't have to look them up. Some use the same icons, etc.

The reason for this is, I wanted to make it so that when someone mouse overed the award, instead of (or in addition to) showing the award name, I wanted to display the issue reason.

So some awards have the same icons, but the issue reasons are different.

One more thing, if a category doesn't have any awards in it, don't display it. I have some categories premade that I'm awaiting icons on. Would be nice if we could set entire categories not to display actually.

EDIT:
Found something else. I'm using the default postbit style (1) and it's not showing the border as usual.

Thanks for the mod though, it's awesome work.

Might be able to setup something in the next release with the option to display catagoriesor not. Could use those type of catagories to put your "hidden" awards in, but still displays in postbits, profile, etc.

From what I can tell, and done through testing, that has been fixed. If you've edited your awards_css.css template since the last update last week, redownload it, and update to that release, as well as look at the "Defualt CSS Data.txt" for the fieldset CSS code.

I am still working on the RC2 release. Had some work pop up last minute on another IT project, so I've been having to put most of my time towards that.

I did not realize that I had to come to the 4.0 add ons to get the newest version. At any rate I went ahead and upgraded everything and I am getting a db error. If you click the link below you should be able to re-create it.

The line that seems important is the following:

Quote:

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'award_pointvalue' in 'field list'

I disabled the "point system" and that fixed the problem.

I installed it, but the awards profile tab will not show up. Also, it won't show on the profile sidebar.

What MySQL version are you running by chance?

I see that you have the "Awards" page be added to the nav bar. I havn't installed the mod yet but I would like to know if there is an option for that tab to not be placed there before I install the mod... my nav bar is rather full as is and I would rather add the link elsewhere

EDIT: NM i see the option in one of the posted pictures of the admin CP

for points to work you must be using minimum mySQL version 5.0, also stated in past pages.

I just installed this yesterday and haven't done any editing to it at all. As I said, I did upgrade from a vb3.8 though. I'll dig around and see if I can figure out what's going on. My postbit isn't looking very good anyway so I think it's time to dig into that and while doing that I'll see if I can figure this issue out.
