I can see "Global" stats but there is no reports in under the tab. I cannot use the drop down box to change the date either. Any help please.

Arved Yagami 11-15-2009 12:12 AM

Didnt work. In the page stats always shows an "incorrect login" msg. In the Global stats it says "You should specify both login and password".

Both are correct and configured in the admin panel but I just cant login. The product didnt retrieve the Google ID but i entered it manually.

Bouncer222 12-03-2009 10:28 PM

all works good, except one tiny thing/concern I noticed...

When you scroll and the stats tab is enabled on the left or basically anywhere on the webpage, it looks as if it breaks pages in half during scrolling of the page, and then its fine, as if some parts of the page take slower to scroll and some sections of the page scroll faster.

It's because of this stats tab for sure, because it wasnt before, i disable product and it goes away, how can we fix this? or can you please put a fix out on the addon? thanks

Going back my argument about this modification was it calls images & files from VBSEO (Crawlability) instead of including them and allowing you to self host them. My reasoning was if VBSEO's site became unavailbe then this modification becomes 100% useless.

Well sure enough VBSEO is down and all I get is a RED X and wicked slow load times until it times out trying to pull images and files.

Again I like VBSEO (I own and run their software) but I think releaseing a modification like this should contain ALL the files to allow it to work OR at least a warning that it will be useless if the hosting server becomes unavailable.

As a side note if you go through the XML file you download (when their server is available) all the images and necessary files. Then edit the XML file to point to the new locations of these files. I would do it for you but VBSEO will not allow even simple fixes to their files to be posted as already demonstrated when I tried to provide a fix in an earlier release fixing this so it worked with vbAdvanced.

Yes I agree 100% their site is down again and guess what the images are not working and slow site load times again...errrr I think I will try what you suggested about editing the xml file then post the updated version if I get some time

Unfortunatly VBSEO wil not allow you to post any modification of their code even if it as simple as entering a vBulletin variable so that the correct directory structure is read. They will just have it pulled. Been down that route already...

Yea they can have it pulled here on vb.org but not if I post the plugin and files on my personal server.

May I ask, under what circumstances, or, what vBSEO rep had a modification to the LS code pulled from vb.org?

We are all for making things as easy and hassle free as possible. The beta LS was made a plugin, however, it was made clear when first released that the ultimate goal was to make it SaaS, and hosting those files was a first step towards that goal.

We have recently devised a method for async js file loading, and will be applying it to LS in the near future. That should resolve any issues with slow loads if vbseo is down for whatever reason. That said, you guys are free to do your own modifications and host the files on your servers, no problem. Once the new file loading approach is implemented, I see this becoming less of an issue though.

Juan, here is my post that included a copy of your XML file that I modified to incorporate {$vbulletin->options[bburl]}/ so that it would work with vbAdvanced. It was also posted on vbseo.com and agreed that was the fix and latter incorporated in to the product.

Can you please show me where in the description above it says that the files are remote hosted? Also what is SaaS? I am unfamiliar with that acronym.

Thanx
