When i have this addon installed

Guests cannot make a forum search

gives them an error :(

Just wanted to follow up since installing this two days ago I have not had a single spam registration. Prior to it I had the default VB Q&A function and they were easily getting through so it appears that they have found a way to beat that.

well update after 2 moths this is stil lworking great, i even got rid of recapture which was a pain in the back side for people to read, now with this mod alone ive gone from 20 spammers joining a day to none in two since using this mod 2 months ago.
no more stupid capture pictures that annoy people when signing up. now just a simple easy question that actually works

Hi all I am new to all of this. I am trying to install it due to spammers on my new board. I am running:

3.7.4

I am trying to install nospam through the admin control panel:

Manage products > Add > Browse but when I locate the file on my hard drive and import I get this:

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/php_upload/phpFbVohE) is not within the allowed path(s) in [path]/admincp/plugin.php on line 1639

No file uploaded and no local file found.

ANY help appreciated!

Installed, Very nice I have both anti spam running plus rules timer and a must read timer and i have Zero spam !!!!

Installed with version 3.7.1 and went from a dozen bots in six hours to nothing in an instant.

No known operational problems thusfar. :up:
