Using the 'Menu Control' plugin is it possible to switch off the original vB menu and only use this new menu?

B.t.w. I needed to make the links in this way: /forum/link1.php if add it as the instructions say I got a link http://www.mydomain.de/www.mydomain.de/forum/link1.php

Enter:
http://www.mydomain.de/forum/link1.php as the URL instead of /forum/link1.php
To allow External links in the menu, the ability to just put /forum/somethinghere had to be removed so you can link to other sites.

For those of you wanting to link to an external site but get it to open in a new window put this onto the end of the url...

The latest version is great, it includes the option for opening links in current or new window.

also what is meant by external links?

I have used this to link to other site's on the net and it works perfect.

Internal Links = Links, for example, that link to links on your site. I.e. forum/rules.php
External Links = Links that link to other links on other sites. I.e. http://www.mgarcade.com
