Everything is great here, good job... one thing though I see and didnt find any replies about was the ability to delete the messages you've sent ?

In my navbar its like this

Pager Messages: Unread 0, Total 2.

the other 2 are messages that were sent out, however i'm unable to delete the ones in an outbox style environment like you can with private messaging.. any ideas?

-- EDIT --

I do use a custom style and i noticed in the screen shots the following image

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...chmentid=40491

My style / design doesnt have that drop down though where it shows the sent items... any ideas why?? The rest of this thing works great!!!

(See attached image for what mine looks like)

-- EDIT --

haha i'm that guy, its fixed.. was missing the JS include for the menus\

100% functional!!!

Bit of a wierd problem really.

the plugin really works fine here, but it seems to be an absolute loadkiller on high load forums.

i have about 200 users online over the day and just switched off the ajax update. Unfortunately the load is still very high when some users use the system.

i think i will switch it off again. Probably there's a way to get the load that this creates down a bit.

AJAX seems to murder CPU's

vbShout is the same way... triples server load.

I was going to install this eventually to replace my own "Simple Pager / Sms for 3.5", but the server load issue is critical to me, as I have over 400 people online most days.

:o:disappointed:

Is this something fixable, or just the nature of the beast?

well that's you. You must have a small $#@ board or a large dedicated package. If you have over 60 cuncurrent members online at once always then this mod and the other AJAX using modification, VBShout, if not practicle. Try logging onto SSH, top command, enable the pager with any AJAX refreshing timeset and or the shoutbox and watch the CPU usage, load, and memory go beyond belief.

Anyway, the mods are neat technological ideas but they are not, as I said, practicle.. and don't mind my spelling... for medium and large communities. End of conversation.

but you should say, that not ajax is responsible for that. The lots of reloads are the reason for the high load. Especially a problem together with keep alive mode in apache, wich is very useful on large boards.
