Went through about 25 pages here and didnt see the answer to my 2 questions. If anyone could help out would be much appreciated.

#1 Is there anyway to have the high scores automatically reset after each day?

#2 Is there a mod to either display game stats on my main forums page...or a mod to add a little more spice to the home page to let the users know of the Arcade addition?

Im saying this because there is just one little "arcade" text link to notify the users of this new option. I added the leaderboard mod, But it doesnt do anything "stats wise" for the main forums page.

You also need to sign up with a email from your domain like webmaster@yourdomain.com

It will take the admin 48hrs to verify your account

But its worth the wait :)

Actually, it will eventually be up there, but until I get them all verified and uploaded, you will have to settle for the ~360 for now. I have just not had a lot of time the last week to get more up between kids, work (yeah, I have a job!), and summer activities. Also, the accounts are usually activated much sooner than 48 hours. No game packs now, but there are others out there offering those.

Search is your friend!

This is a notification for everyone regarding available bandwidth increases for your accounts. Effective immediately, standard member accounts have 192k available download bandwidth. For those that have donated, you have an additional 192k available for every incremental donation given (see donation page for more details).

Please note that this is AVAILABLE bandwidth, as in it is configured to allow up to that amount. Conditions outside of our control do not GUARANTEE that limit can or will be reached (your ISP, server load, etc.).

thats a ripoff.

192k per donation? lmao to download a pack of 2100 games you would need to donate hundreds of dollars as they are between 700mb and 1.2gb depending on how you pack them.

All I see are rip off game sites for hundreds of dollars.. I believe once my box is reimaged ( reformated ) with fc4 I will host these games..... and only ask for a DECENT tranfser cost to cover transfer... ( if 700 people download there goes my transfer for the month... )

A board member requested Kaboom by Activision for the Atari 2600 system.

I found this. http://www.groovz.com/play/kaboom/

Before I try and convert it myself (I'll probably butcher it). Anyone know if it has already been converted?

If I had not already corrected this, your laughter may have some merit.

Actually, thanks for the reminder, pal! I forgot to post the e-mailed article with the update to 256k. Note that this is an additional amount equal to the base 256k someone already gets. No donations are required and I will continue to increase the limit as I see that bandwidth does not go beyond a certain amount. I think my next scheduled bump is the middle of July. This is a free site and I do not want to see any unnecessary fees for going over my alloted transfer limit. It is nice to see that you understand this based on your next comment. Then again, it looks like you think the 192k was the total allowed to download, not bandwidth.

Excellent! There should be more of us out there! Rip-off sites are many and it is nice to see you wishing to contribute! I am sure there are many of us that wish you the best.

K time to explain.

BANDWIDTH: The speed of your connection/pipes IE 100MBiT Badnwidth, is a server that resides on a 100MBiT connection.

TRANSFER: Ammount of data you "transfer" to and from your server/host

256k TRANSFER MAYBE gets a user 2? games depending on there size.

Your site also states that for every DOLLAR they donate they get an ADDITIONAL 256k alotted to them.

now it is 1024k for every 1mb - it is 1024 mb to every gb

kb-mb would be roughly 1048576k for 1 gb

so 1073741824k for every gb.

we divide that by your alote ment of 256 and get 4194304

We mutiply that number by 1.00 and get 4,194,304

Now who says it had to be a dollar? lets go .01

we get 41,943.04 per person. to download 2000+ games if they are notpacked right.

Thats alot of money per person to download 2000 games am I right?

Notfaulting th eintentions you just mentioned. transfer costs are HIGH, but asking 10-15 dollars for about a gb of information is more realistic, and pays for any overages you may incur.

You seem to have issues reading and comprehending the information presented to you. He simply capped the outgoing bandwidth on his website to a certain amount, to make sure he didn't go over his allottment of bandwidth. Depending on where you host, overages can be quite expensive.

As he stated, and you obviously missed, its actual bandwith (the speed) that he is limiting. Not how much you can download. 256k transfer = approx. 32k transfer speeds. If you are willing to wait, thats what you get. If you want faster, or to help support his site, you will get more. Pretty simple.

The person that posted stating 2,000 games is incorrect. He has around 350 games currently, but is wishing to have around 2,000 games after he gets done converting them. Fairly simple. I'd advise you to take your time when you read posts, to avoid making a complete fool outta yourself.

As for game, he has some, I have a few packages of games that I compiled myself from various sites of which some are ibpro games that will work with v3 arcade (ie I've installed them, and they work correctly). Working on creating a bit larger of a pack to post sometime soon. Prolly will be posted beginning of July, as my bandwith on most of my sites are getting on the higher side.

rjordan - I can give you direct links to where I have almost all the games (most in large rar files) I have for direct download if you wish to pore thru them as well. Most are IBPro games.

mikeinjersey 06-25-2006 10:47 PM

please answer..

Can someone tell me how to reset all the scores for all the games?

And are there any types of games in which 2 people can actually play together...Like Chess or Checkers? I think that would be really cool.. Instead of doing the "Challenges" when you cant even see what the other person is doing.
