I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to change the color of the pop-up menus such as /slap menu that pops up.

Also i need the color of the The user ID does not exsist changed however i cannot find the HTML / css to do this.

Can't really specify this as it's in beta and EACH system is different. A general/overall consensus would be a more accurate way to relay this.

If you are having LAG on ANY version, it's because it's a shared hosting and not a private server and they are using limited resources. I run 30 sites (All dB/php intense) and there is virtually no lag ranging back from the 2.x version up to 3.1.0.

Is it possible to have the bot reply in same colour as defined in its nominated users group, ignores this currently

eg usergroup set to display blue chat, bot posting black

Is it possible to insert a condition to display or hide the "Archive" button? I have the archive active only for admins, yet members can still see and click the button, bringing them to a permissions page.

I have Ultimate Side columns installed and I would like the Chatbox to situate in the column on the right.

In the admin area I can only select above and below not side.
Can I put a piece of code in the side column to make the chatbox appear there?

I don't get the point of this bot, I had my hopes up thinking it was a learner bot but I have to type everything it says? that's dumb as hell, it's cool I appreciate the option I'm just really disappointed because everyone at my forum woulda flipped if we finally had a learner bot

How do I make it so the chat box isn't there when creating a new thread? It's above the subject/message box so you have to scroll all the way down past it, I don't see the option for turning this off or moving it to the bottom, only forum home and all that but nothing about new threads

it's horrible, I can't even click the minimize arrow it just maximizes itself again instantly

fix it please, or if the option for that isn't in the same spot as the rest of them please let me know where it is and why it isn't with them

chatbox is running perfectly besides that, but that's a major deal breaker ruining the create new thread page like that since the entire point of forums is to create threads

It looks great but is it possible (and how) to display the chat on a separate page?
I have vB 3.8.x and I want to give access to the chat on a specific URL that is not visible on the forum navigation :)

Can someone tell me how I can change the text color on the Archives page?

I have a skin with a black background and the text is showing up black in the archives so you have to highlight it to even see the text.

I want to change it to white text.

Even white text in the chatbox itself would be nice cause its silver on a black background but at least you can see/read it.

Im on vB 4.1.3 if it matters any.

Ive heard so many complaints the past couple of days about not being able to see the text, its not funny and I cant figure out which stylevar it is.

None of the users can change their text formatting options. It was working before, and everyone still has their own unique formatting, but we can't change it. All the options in the ACP are set to allow everyone to change it, but it still isn't working. Anyone else have this problem? I'm running 3.8.3

Bold/italic/underline and the custom BBCodes still work, but we can't change the font and the color. Not temporarily and not permanently.

Edit: reinstalled it and I keep getting the error "Warning: Unexpected character in input: '' (ASCII=27) state=2 in ......showthread.php(2133) : eval()'d code on line 453" for several different ASCII values. It gives the same error for index.php at the same line, but I checked both and they appear to be fine.

I can't figure out how to allow users to post links. It won't allow it in public chat but they can private message links to each other. I turned on BBcode URL and turned it off but no luck so far. Any idea?

I'm running it on 3.8.6 with no problems other than that

Is there a way to make the background of the chatbox black? I want the background black it'd make it easier to see everyone's text which I defaulted to pink

If it's not possible I'll keep the default text black but it'd sure be neat if I could make the background black

EDIT: I went through all the settings and found nothing, but I did find the alternate background for each line which is alright but this would also be cool if I could change the two alternating colors

This bayby breaks my prefixes. When eabled, all prefixes i try to create just turns up blanc. They are there, but blanc. Turn it of, and i can create them.

I am running the chat box but in the whats going on area, the best chatters is overflowing the line instead of going to the next when using a smaller resolution. How can i prevent this?

I recently uninstalled mgc chat. Today I went to update usergroup permissions dealing with something else and received a sql error:

Apparently uninstalling didn't remove the mgc fields from the d-base.

The same happened to me. I ended up having to re-install it, then just disable it until I took the time to manually remove the database info.

I want to change the colors listed for members to choose from.
How do I modify the color codes?

i have a problem with the bot function.
First i tried to use a special member as Bot (Boardbutler - UID: 1199)
Named the Bot "James" same like the user.
I tried also the UID: 1 and the Name James. Both didn't work.

First i tested the "Gestion du bot" function.
There i added some phrases and sentences.
"what time is it?" Bot:"Hello {username}. It's {time} at {date}.
When i write "what time is it?" ....... nothing.

Also i activated the following function:

Both i activated. But the MGC does it not.
Why?
What do i wrong?

To BOT works, you MUST activate it.... On ADVANCED OPTIONS you must set YES for "Activate the bot in the chatbox ?", and other BOT settings...

is there any way to set the chatbox in an vb4 cms widget?
at this time i dont have found any solution for this.

Only thing is for the life of me i can not find where to edit the default chat message in the chat box

I did the language file but in the little chat biox area where you input the chat it has " Entrez votre chat >>"
How and where do i change this to english and "Place chat here" ?

In the admincp --> MGC Chatbox Evo and click Chats formatting and change Message to display in the input field on page load.
